USA Bottlers
Meeting 2000
|

The
USA bottlers of Coca-Cola are a tough audience to please. When you are presenting
an entire new marketing and advertising campaign, well hold on because the
changes come in rapid-fire waves. "Enjoy" is the new campaign and it went
over with a bang as commercial after new commercial was presented. PGI Technical
Director Jose Nicoletti called upon Randy Young to direct the four camera
video coverage, as well as the several playback video decks needed to keep
up with the ever-changing flow of videotapes. The show was topped off with
an evening of comedy and music performances featuring Dana Carvey, Earth

| GTE Internet World | "An Evening with Santana" 2000 | ||
The
hottest act on the concert circuit today is the same one that walked away
with all the Grammy Awards for 1999. Santana! They performed a very special
show for GTE during the Internet World Conference in Los Angeles. The
famous Hollywood Paladium was the venue for the evening show. It is rare
to work with such a hot act in such a small venue and Santana took advantage
of the venue and energetic crowd. Everyone was excited to watch Carlos
perform in such an intimate atmosphere. Using 4 cameras for coverage the
show was projected to screens around the venue as well as an overflow
and party tent constructed in the parking lot of the Paladium. The performers
contract did not allow recording of the event but once Santana's manager
started to watch the video coverage he came to the truck and insisted
that we run a tape for Carlos! He called it some of the best video coverage
he has ever had of Carlos and the band. |

| The World Through 8 Centimeters: An International Medical Symposium & Teleconference | |||
World-renowned
Cardiologist Dr. Toby Cosgrove serves as chairman of The Cardiology Department
at The Cleveland Clinic. Using the European Cardiologists Congress as
a forum, Dr. Cosgrove dramatically presented not only the results of his
year-long study of minimally invasive open heart surgery to an international
audience, but presented it through the performance of two live open heart
surgical procedures. An international audience gathered at the Bella Center
in Copenhagen where a show originated for worldwide broadcast. Based both
in a Cleveland surgical suite and the Bella Center Congress in Copenhagen,
a four-hour seminar was produced. Two surgical procedures were performed
by Dr. Cosgrove in Cleveland under the watchful eyes of a panel of cardiologists
in Copenhagen. Panel doctors not only watched during the procedures but
could also question and comment live to Dr. Cosgrove. Between procedures,
as well as afterward, a panel discussion dealing with the operations was
conducted from Copenhagen and included Dr. Cosgrove live from Cleveland.
Two world-wide feeds were produced for broadcast. The first and primary
feed originated in Copenhagen and was delivered live to Europe, Eastern
Europe, Africa, The Middle East and The Far East. The Western feed originated
in Cleveland and was transmitted to North and South America. Produced
by WorldCare, Randy Young directed and managed a diverse crew of Danes,
Germans, Luxemburgerish and American technicians working for the worldfeed
